    Abstract
In this lecture we will discuss how AI algorithms can be integrated into satellite operation to increase productivity, reduce operator costs, increase availability and even automate satellite operations.

I will present a case study of using machine learning algorithms in order to predict and analyze satellite malfunctions.
The lecture will show how the satellite Telemetry can be used in order to generate prediction models that pre-anticipate the satellite behavior.
The lecture will include a short explanation about the fundamentals of data science and machine learning, we'll then drill down to the world of satellite planning and operation and see how these two fields can be combined to create synergy in a variety of Ground station operation solutions and even in onboard flight software.
