Since five years Airbus DS is preparing the future with the development of all relevant technologies in order to manufacture and assemble in Space. After a review of the future benefits and applications, on-going developments will be presented. Metal3D the development in collaboration with ESA of the first metallic 3D printer that will be delivered early 2020 and fly onboard the ISS. DEMETRA the full digital manufacturing factory designed for manufacturing and assembly in Space with robots.
