    Abstract
    The International Master Program on Space Technology and Application (MASTA) was initiated in 2006. Since then, it has been successfully operated for more than 10 years in Beihang University. More than 200 hundreds international students from 18 countries have already graduated. MASTA is an elaborately designed and intensive master program for students who are interested in exploring the mysterious universe and want to have their professional career in space industry, space agency or space institutes. Most students come from members countries of Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization and recommended by space agency of their mother country. This application-oriented and students-targeted program focuses on both knowledge acquisition and operational training. Theory study and operational ability are both emphasised equally. It aims to deliver International, Interdisciplinary, Intercultural, Innovative, Identical (5Is) education and provide a powerful platform for scholars and professionals to obtain more opportunities for communicating and experiencing the space technology practice in China. The program has been continually modified and improved with the purpose to meet the new increasing demands from space industries and organizations. The paper describes in detail the operation mode of this program and how this mode be dynamically changed with the changing demands from the potential students. The education and training module is described and the curriculums of the courses for MASTA are represented. In the end, experiences and lessons learned are shared.
