- Abstract
This work aims to present the final recommendations of experienced students and professionals in the Mexican space sector regarding the path that national space policy should follow. This, through the network of Space Generation Adivosry Council in Mexico. Given the recent change of administration and political power in the country, national policy of science and technology suffered major changes regarding funding and social importance. In the eagerness to participate in decision making within a democratic system, youth in Mexico decided to propose their vision and perspectives. These recommendations seek to reach the decision makers of academia, industry and government in Mexico. This effort seeks to promote importance/benefits of space science and technology, encourage students and professionals to express their ideas on the space development of the country, explore different possibilities to contribute to the national space program and propose ideas to the new science and technology program of Mexico. Within these recomendations it is sought to address the guiding principles of science and technology National Strategic Programs (ProNacEs)that have been established since 2018 in Mexico to attend the most important public urgencies of the country, together with the next four basic topics of a space emerging country as Mexico. In this proposal are presented recommendations in the topics: space applications, science, technology and innovation, industry and entrepeneurship, space law and policy.
