    Abstract
ASTRAX has been using lunar land sold by the U.S. company Lunar Embassy for 15 years. While this land is legally valid or invalid is left for another debate, the fact is that since 1980, it has already been sold and owned by 6 million people around the world for almost 40 years with most of them completely unused. In other words, buying land on the Moon is something to dream about and has no real use for most of these people.
Therefore, ASTRAX made the decision to ask companies to buy land on the Moon. So far, 350 companies have purchased land on the Moon through ASTRAX. For example, real companies and businesses in various industries, such as cafes and restaurants, clothing stores and electronics stores, schools and hospitals, real estate and architecture studios, entertainers and singers, now own land on the Moon. Companies begin using lunar land for their business from when they write the lunar address on their business cards. They are then asked to think about how they would like to use the land further. ASTRAX keeps track of who has land, where and what they want to do with it. We are also working on the Lunar city concept by creating a lunar business community to connect those stores, companies, and organizations to form a lunar economic zone. By creating maps, applications, and shopping malls on the Internet, we have been able to increase the number of pioneering friends of ASTRAX LUNAR CITY.
With the idea of opening a store on the Moon, these 350 companies are thinking realistically about creating businesses with products and services related to the Moon, so that they can sell and offer them on Earth even before going to the Moon (in addition, ASTRAX is an institutional partner of the Moon Village Society, and ASTRAX LUNAR CITY is a top gold sponsor of the 3rd International Moon Village Workshop & Symposium).
We have already started to provide services using the Moon. If necessary, the gravity of the Moon can also be simulated using zero gravity flight. Community members can also collaborate with each other to create new services. We are also planning to build an analog lunar base facility in Japan, similar to the HI-SEAS Mars base facility in Hawaii. A virtual lunar city concept using Minecraft, VR, and the Metaverse is also in the works.
In this paper, we will introduce the many challenges and experiences that ASTRAX has faced in developing a lunar city.
