Abstract

In this article, statistical analyses were conducted to assess the environmental benefits of Air Traffic Management (ATM) operational measures.
Both overflights and arrivals-departure traffic data were referred as the primary evaluation source. The post-pandemic rate of air traffic was utilized to project its progress until 2027.
Performance Based Navigation (PBN) measures and airspace upgrades impact were reckoned upon the fuel efficiency within the boundary of the flight information region (FIR) Baku.
As the result, the fuel efficiency from the implementation of PBN operational measures and modernization of airspace within the boundary of FIR Baku was assessed.
