- Abstract
With the large-scale and rapid development of the small satellite industry, many international launch providers have introduced their dedicated rideshare solutions using heavy, medium or small launch vehicles for small satellites. In recent years, China's commercial space industry has been booming under the strong support of government policies, and the demand for Chinese domestic small satellites to reach space has increased dramatically. While conventional rideshare opportunities could not meet such enormous demands, newly introduced launch vehicles still needed to be able to deliver reliable launch solutions. China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), the commercial organization authorized by the Chinese government to provide commercial launch services, has launched a highly competitive "Shared Launch Vehicle" business model for the first time in China. Throughout the mission, CGWIC has established a management system covering early marketing, launch vehicle selection, solution design, risk management and workflows, offering low-cost and reliable launch solutions for the satellite industry.
