    Abstract
During the first half of 2022, the Brazilian education startup Ideia Space held a course containing a set of 93 classes of robotics and astronomy promoted within Lar São José, a non-governmental organization and foster house for young people in social vulnerability condition, in Taguatinga-DF , Brazil. In this article, the conclusions about the social changes that occurred in young people and children in the Home (people aged between 6 and 17 years old) after these classes took place will be presented. Questionnaires were applied to the students, taking into account, ones who had high attendance (presence in class greater than 80%) in the course, when formulating the questions: quality of knowledge acquired, changes in the personal perspective of the professional future, changes in relation to commitment and school dedication , as well as a change in the perception of the importance of education in their lives. A comparison was made with questionnaires applied to students at the beginning of the course. The second questionnaire was carried out the following year only with young people who had not left the NGO's guardianship.
