    Abstract
The Artemis Accords, a set of principles for international cooperation in space exploration and use, have been subject to criticism for a potential legal loophole related to the lack of a clear definition of "peaceful exploration and use of space." In this investigation, we will explore the importance of finding a clearer definition of this term and potential ways to achieve it.

The current ambiguity in the definition of peaceful space activities may lead to differing interpretations of the Outer Space Treaty of 1967, potentially allowing for space activities that violate the principles of the Accords. Therefore, finding a clear and agreed-upon definition of what constitutes peaceful space activities will be crucial to ensure the success of the Artemis Accords and promote safe, sustainable space exploration and use.

To achieve a clear definition, the investigation will examine different interpretations of the Outer Space Treaty and other relevant international laws and agreements. It will also analyze the perspectives and interests of various signatory nations and consider how they may influence the definition of peaceful space activities.

The investigation will also explore the potential benefits of a clearer definition of peaceful space activities. A clear definition could help prevent legal disputes, promote transparency, and ensure that space activities are conducted in a responsible and sustainable manner. It could also facilitate international cooperation in space and promote the development of new space technologies and exploration missions.

In conclusion, a clearer definition of peaceful exploration and use of space is important for ensuring the success of the Artemis Accords and promoting safe, sustainable space activities. Through an analysis of relevant international laws and agreements and consideration of various signatory nations' perspectives and interests, we may be able to achieve a more concrete and agreed-upon definition of this term. This could have significant benefits for the future of space exploration and use.
