    Abstract
Space related activities are becoming more important and more intensive than ever before. Core components for their success are of course the analogue astronauts but also the habitat management teams that include specialists involved on the mission development and astronaut training, they are the key factor for any activity to be successful, or not.

That explains why the training of all the people involved on the mission is one of the vastly growing activities, and still proves to be one of the most challenging tasks from them all.

Space analogue habitat used for trainings; tests are growing in numbers. Increased space activities brought universities into more active participation in the space programs, and one of the natural directions of development is building simulation environments in or next to universities, this bring the opportunity to open the facility to a large amount of people, to get familiar and test new technologies, processes and solutions.

However new challenges emerged! One of the main challenges is the pre-training of the participants, as universities don’t have today a program for pre-training and approval of the candidates (students).
The idea here presented to face this problem is, with the invitation to the international collaboration with universities and analogue simulation center, to develop a project called SPACE HAB READY in order to develop:

    a. Pre-training methodology and curriculum for new participants in universities space habitats and simulation centers.

    b. Manual for implementation in new habitats, with focus modules for new university managed habitats + Train the trainer material.

    c. Digital course “Pre-training for new participants in the Space Habitat”, digitalized train-the-trainer material for habitat management teams.
