Governmental Human Spaceflight Programs (Overview)

The session provides the forum for updates and annual “Overview” presentations on present and evolving governmental Human Spaceflight programmes. This year, the session is focused on the development and production of exploration hardware systems for the first set of SLS/Orion missions and the Gateway. The session is divided in two parts: • A pitching session, where selected speakers will address topics of relevance with the session theme • A panel discussion with invited panelists that will elaborate on the topics of the pitching session and animate a Q&A session moderated by the B3.1 co-chairs. Selected abstracts will be presented in the first part of the session. Each presentation is a 5 – 10 minutes pitch addressing the fundamental messages, challenges and open questions for further elaboration with the panelists in the second part of the session. (total 45 – 60 minutes). In the second part of the session, panelists will have 1.5 hours to elaborate on the topics addressed in the pitching session.
