    Abstract
The project aimed at the chamber local heat transfer enhancement techniques for the high pressure and high heat flux thrust chamber using kerosene as coolant is studied by the way of numerical simulation and experimentation.
The physics-mathematics model of a prospective local heat transfer enhancement structure i.e. the artificial roughness (AR) which located in the cooling channels by small disturbance is developed to simulate the flow and local heat transfer for the further understanding its heat exchange mechanism in the straight and helical cooling channels. The experimental study on local heat transfer enhancement with the different AR structure parameters in straight channels using kerosene as medium under different work condition(the experimental pressure up-to 20MPa) by the electric power heater was carried out to obtain the characteristics of the kerosene heat exchange.
The results of the numerical simulation and electric heated experimentation indicate that the AR will be advantage of the high pressure thrust chamber heat protection under the same other conditions and will also influence on preventing the coke’s formation with AR structure properly located near the cooling channels as well.
