    Abstract
In many space missions, there exists the requirement for mobile ground station, both for data uplink and downlink. Coverage area and time of communication are quite sensitive to the location of the mobile ground station, when the mission is defined with known orbit. The relationship between coverage time and the location (longitude and latitude) is discussed in this paper in order to find out a principle of mobile ground station location selection. In the multi-station cases, the principle of location selection is also considered to optimize the collaboration between those stations for the same mission.
