    Abstract
After the US Vision for Space Exploration was presented in 2004, a large interest for international cooperation in Lunar exploration has been lit among the major space agencies in the world. Agency level cooperation initiatives have already been initiated, but very few effective mechanisms for low level cooperation exist, and this is potentially hampering the progress of all parts involved in the Lunar exploration. The Lunar Explorers Society (Lunex) has, after its recent revival, developed the infrastructure needed to facilitate a low level, international cooperation and coordination between scientists and engineers, and to include laymen, students and other enthusiasts in this cooperation. This infrastructure enable the Lunex members to easily share their research and other works with each other, to discus their own thoughts and ideas with the community, and to spread the word about relevant events such as workshops and conferences. Lunex is open for people from all over the world, and with all types of backgrounds and interests. The Lunex infrastructure will therefore be an important part of the international cooperation in the Lunar exploration effort, and particularly when it comes to including students and young professionals in a professional environment. On this note, Lunex will arrange a Lunar habitat workshop at the Space Generation Conference the week before IAC in Hyderabad and a student session at the 9th ICEUM in Italy a few weeks later.
