    Abstract
    The satellite navigation systems (SNS) are actively used at present in many spheres of human activity.
    The SNS application for global monitoring of Earth gravitational field is of special interest. The data obtained as a result of monitoring may be used to predict earthquakes, to prospect mineral resources et al.
    At present, the following methods of Earth gravitational field monitoring are realized:
    -	the point method;
    -	the local method;
    -	the linear-periodic method.
    The point method of Earth gravitational field monitoring is a distributed network of stationary gravimetric observatories equipped with gravimeters.
    The local method of Earth gravitational field monitoring is realized with the help of satellite means.
    A theoretical pre-condition for solving the task of Earth gravitational field global monitoring is the effect of gravitational "red" shift of photon frequency discovered by Pound and Rebca in 1960.
    Yuzhnoye SDO developed and launched in 1962 the DU-U2-M SC intended for practical application of Pound-Rebca effect, however at that time there was no physical ability to realize such approach.
    At present, the navigation satellites of EGNOS, WAAS, MSAS and Galileo systems use the sources of electromagnetic radiation having the stability of
    10(-14)--10(-15), which allows to use them for realization of gravitational field global monitoring. An integrated analysis of variation of navigation signal frequency and acceleration of gravity will allow to realize the function of determining the acceleration of gravity at a given point of Earth surface in future navigation receivers.
