    Abstract
Results of applicability study of modern constructional materials for propellant tanks and adjacent designs of future space transportation systems are presented. Various types of launchers of the most preferable configurations are considered.

Designs of launchers with use of modern and advanced liquid rocket engines are analyzed. Issues of choice of materials for tanks with different cryogenic components (such, as liquid hydrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid methane) and high-temperature propellants (for example, kerosene) are considered.

Structural concepts used at manufacturing of tanks and adjacent designs are analyzed. Issues connected with use of various materials for such designs are considered.

Applicability of modern materials for tanks and adjacent designs are considered separately for ELV and RLV advanced systems.
