    Abstract
Maximum velocity head test is to assess the working situation of the escape vehicle by meanings of simulating the launch vehicle’s failure in the maximum velocity head status. The environment and performance parameters of the escape vehicle are obtained. The vehicle's structural strength and the function of the grid wing release mechanism are also tested. This large comprehensive test is difficult and has high risk because it involves the structure of the escape vehicle, telemetering system, exterior ballistic measuring system, rocket sled power system, and the ordnance control system. The maximum velocity head ground simulate test is introduced in this paper. The test objective, project design, test result are discussed and the conclusion is drawn.
