- Abstract
The work discusses the main technique of manufacturing monocristals. I give an introduction to the Czochralski technique and take note of technical difficulties and limitations considering mixed cristals. The work also includes a comparison between the cristal growth process made on Earth and in zero gravity. I concentrate on examining the previously produced set of GaAs(1-x)P(x) monocristals. In particular, I investigate its composition which leads to an interesting hypothesis. The main part of the work treats the characterization of inhomogeneities using microscopical observation of photoetched samples.
