- Abstract
Solar arrays are the main source of energy used at present onboard satellites. Their energy resources largely determines the active period of on-orbit satellites. This paper initiates the output power variation model of solar arrays from telemetry data of the three-axis stabilized GEO satellites made by China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), and illustrates possible effects to on-orbit GEO satellites caused by output power variation under the model.
