- Abstract
The H2A launch vehicle has achieved 11th successful flight in February 2007 out of 12 flights since its inaugural flight in 2001. It is recognized that the H2A launch vehicle becomes a member of the world launch vehicle lineup as well as the Japanese workhorse. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. takes over the H2A launch services from the Japanese government organization in JFY2007, and will present launch services not only to Japanese government users but also to commercial users in the world. This paper presents outline of the H2A launch services, including its organization, vehicle performances, flight results, launch facilities and operation, launch manifest plan, and introduces the key measures to maintain and increase its reliability.
