    Abstract
    Defining a Knowledge Worker Infrastructure allows work groups to to improve productivity by enhancing collaboration.  This is primarily through the process of asyhnchoronous communication.  Related experiences and success in establishing this infrastructure will be discussed.  Lessons learned will also be presented.  Over fifty work groups  have benefitted from using this collaborating environment.  This work cuts across multiple disciplines:  programmatic as well institution organizations have been represented.  The succes depends on adoption as opposed to a well honed tool.
