    Abstract

Nation’s activity in space is determined by government industry. But a small group can impact tomorrow space agenda. We are encouraging bright young people into science and technology careers through their innate interest in space. By promoting space as can educational tool, we like to educate students of all levels and general public. We, by being a organizing people of organizations like SYDA, YHM, and members of TPSY, TANASTRO and by being volunteers in space related organizations, we are taking part in space exploration education for students and general public.

PUBLIC OUTREACH: Educating the general public will ultimately impact government policy.

TANASTRO, Tamilnadu Astronomy Society, Chennai is conducting various activities like star glazing, solar eclipse and Lunar Eclipse watch, transients of Venus, mars watch. Regular lectures have been given by members and scientist from various organizations.

    STUDENT OUTREACH:

Students are backbone of nation whose con tri but ion determines the development of country‘s science activities.

SYDA, Society for youth development advocacy, Pondicherry is conducting various space awareness programs. Members of SYDA are taken to ISRO Bangalore, Trivandrum and are shown sounding rocket launch and satellite models, which make them inspired. By syda we also conducted seminar sessions at Pondicherry and chennai on remote sensing and ISRO’s activities by which students of various colleges get encouraged and motivated in space explorations. We are also motivating the students to do projects. We have under taken various projects like Cansat and which is being guided by our team.

TPSY, The planetary society for youth, Karnataka also imparting in space awareness s in national level and did projects like Jove receiver (For getting signals from sun and Jupiter) which was funded by prof.kuppen International space university, France.

SPACE CLUB, We had organized space related activities, by forming space clubs for schools, diploma and engineering students.

In schools, we were conducting activities like star glazing, essay writings on astronomy and astrophysics and project designs on astronomical suits, mars rover, robotic village on moon, and mars terraforming and giving regular seminars for motivating students.

For Diploma Engineers, we are conducting space related activities which comes hand in a hand in related to the core subject under which we have done a project called kalamsat. Kalamsat launched for a 10m altitude, which measure the pressure, humidity and temperature at that state.

For Bachelor Engineers, we are making students to take part in SYDA, TPSY activities, seminars and their college projects are planned in space sensors and instruments which lead to space innovatives.

YHM, Young Helping Minds (CHENNAI) is a NGO with a motto to develop to the Country is serving financially for the education of poor students also helping physically challenged students for their carrier .Those students are being guided towards space research by TANASTRO, SYDA, and TPSY. Educating the inherent talents of Students will make our space science extreme than the Big Bang.
