- Abstract
Space exploration is discussed from the standpoint of the basic philosophy. Why does mankind go ahead with space exploration? What is the relationship between science and exploration? What is the best frame for the international collaboration in exploration? The author tries to clarify the problems involved in these questions and also tries to propose a desirable way of conducting space exploration referring to the examples of Japan’s exploration scheme.
