    Abstract
The report opens littleknown page of a history of the space technology, connected with launching of the first Soviet satellite. During this period the problem was not in the satellite, but in satellite launcher which would provide its launch into orbit. In the USSR practically ready and spare variant of launch by rocket R12 Kosmos of DB Pivdenne was. This development, became a push for a space direction in Dnipropetrovsk Interest to a space direction in SDB 586 has arisen even before historical placing an first artificial satellite in orbit of Earth because D. Ustinov has charged SDB 586 to duplicate work of S. Korolev. After success of S. Korovev of in launching of AES on October, 4, 1957 a necessity of duplication his works has disappeared also interest to SDB 586 has vanished in Moscow. But V. Kovtunenko has suggested to return to idea of creation on base R12 of twostage space booster in 1958. After launching of first AES the interests of potential customers of a payload have grown very quickly. They already put a question about transition from unique separate experiments in Space to largescale research of space. In the report the subsequent steps of DB Pivdenne in a direction of launch of satellites, space platforms are analyzed. On March, 16, 1962 the message about launch of AES under the new soviet program which subsequently has received the name Kosmos was flown all world. A little who knew, what the new satellite ds2 and the satellite launcher 63c1 are developed by sdB 586 DB Pivdenne and made at factory 586 in Dnipropetrovsk. The idea of creation of the satellite launcher on basis of combat missile was extremely fruitful. Terms and cost of development were essentially reduced and operation of a space rocket complex became simpler due to use of existing starting complex and its technology equipment. Since October, 14, 1969 satellite launcher 63c1 started to place in orbit the international satellites of series Interkosmos. Satellite launcher 8c63 became the first Soviet mass rocket which was produced serially. For 15 years of its operation, 165 launchs have been made of them 143 was successful. The report gives the comparative analysis and features Dniper direction of launch of AES. Spacecraft under the name Kosmos1 placed in orbit became the founder of huge family of the diverse space vehicles of sdb 586 which number has come nearer to figure 400.
