- Abstract
Based on the latest methodological developments in the area of Collaborative Innovation Management, combining the effectiveness of proactive TTT as complement to traditional market pull and technology push approaches, INNO-Vention project objective is to fully exploit the European excellence in TTT and available networks and initiatives.
The project involves excellence networks as the European Space Agency Technology Transfer Program and Innovation Relay Centres, to set-up an experimental but concrete action by means of a pilot service targeting three European lead sectors, namely aerospace/security, automotive and textile as pilot areas for promising cross-sectoral TTT opportunities. The pilot audience consists of SMEs, Large enterprises, Industrial Associations and Groupings, Universities and Research Centres as well as technology brokers, development agencies and even individuals as beneficiaries of or sources for TTT. The implemented methodology as well as the preliminary results achieved in the first year provide a clear indication on the opportunities generated from this approach to innovation.
