- Abstract
Until now, the existence of extraterrestrial life or intelligence concerns only the exercise of human imagination. What do we know today about the human capacity of imagination ? How is it able to concern another being, another form of life, another form of intelligence? Until where is it possible to imagine beings with which it would be perhaps impossible to communicate or to come into contact? And if the extraterrestrial existence and the intelligence would become real in the future, how to be prepared to accept a reality which will be in any case different from what will have been imagined? Reality will be more rich as imagination will have been stimulated.
