    Abstract
    Chang'e 2 Satellite is a Chinese unmanned lunar probe that was launched on 1 October 2010.It was considered as the foreruner satellite of Lunar Exploration Programme Second Phases to aviating test.The partial pivotal technique of Lunar Exploration Programme Second Phase would be test and deepen lunar scientific exploration.After completing its primary objective,the probe left lunar orbit for the Earth-Sun L2 lagrangian point.In april 2012,Chang'e 2 departed L2 to begin an extended mission to the asteroid 4179 Tourtatics,which was successfully flew by in December 2012.This paper described the technical characteristic of Chang'e 2 Satellite,include orbit design,exploration goal select and so on,then introduced the developing course,flight results,extended mission and major fruition.
