- Abstract
Function analysis for Tiangong-1 Target Vehicle was carried out based on mission requirements for China's first rendezvous and docking task. Several innovation on design and management different from traditional developing method for spacecraft were put into practice in Tiangong-1 due to its special demands and validated successfully in the rendezvous and docking task of Tiangong-1 and the Shenzhou-8 spaceship. Its experience can be utilized in further manned space missions such as the manned space station.
