- Abstract
The Sumbandila Mission Control System (MCS) is the third generation of ground software that builds on experience gained during preceding Saudisat-3 and Sunsat LEO earth observation missions. It provides automated ground and satellite health monitoring and mission execution workflows that incorporate cloud cover forecasts. This paper examines the MCS's extensive archival of ground and satellite events and telemetry, including full spectrum captures of up- and downlink signals, and how the collected data are used for diagnostic and training purposes.
