- Abstract
International space law has been developed through diplomacy. The lecture traces the diplomatic efforts which have been undertaken for that purpose during the past half century. It inevitably also asks whether a specific space law diplomacy has emerged, where failures have occurred and are still occurring and, finally, what kind of diplomacy might be needed to face the challenges for space law development of today.
