- Abstract
Based on TSTO air-breathing vehicle as research object, this paper has been analyzed the requirements for future mission. With the specific mission as an example, this paper analyzed the potential superiority characteristics. Aiming at the implementation of the mission, a trajectory design method is presented. The trajectory design is divided into three steps: designate the location of separation point, design the trajectory of second stage, and design trajectory of first stage. The separation must be in the plane of target orbit, and the second stage is to retain the ability of maneuver. The trajectory design problem is transformed into trajectory parameter solving. The method turns out to be simple, efficient, and is easy to be realized in engineering.
