    Abstract
The mechanical configuration of KHS is a hexagonal shaped satellite with four deployable solar panels. Which is based on DS-2 design heritage. As an earth observation satellite with improved payload design and performance to the former DubaiSat-2 mission, as a result the payload gains a slight increase of weight and size in comparison with its former design. The paper will explain the current design, structure improvements compared to DS-2 structure and the supporting mechanical sub-systems. Furthermore, as a newly developed organization, the engineers were able to over come the hardships that encountered them and improve with each and every new project despite being at a young age.
